Company Profile:

Our client is wholesaler and retailer of petroleum products. They are in search of an Account Manager for the South Shore and Montreal territory. You will be responsible for a territory of customers where you will be expected to keep and grow your revenue base. You will be mostly in your territory and expect to drive about 50,000 kms per year

Functions:

Be responsible for a sales territory, ensure a presence and solicit customers on an ongoing basis to increase companyr’s market shares;
Ensure, through efficient negotiations, that sales objectives and profits are met;
Prepare documentation required to open new accounts
Represent company professionally in all transactions taking place in the territory and with local organizations;
Be aware of market conditions, new opportunities, competitors’ activities and the territory’s development via activities reports;
Demonstrate initiative, solve customer problems and provide technical advice on penetrating new markets;
Contribute to the protection of the environment, health and safety by conducting inspections at various sites visited;
Collaborate with various departments related to our customers and maintain good relations on both sides;
Prepare and update a sales program for the territory prepare annual forecasts and presentations to existing or potential customers;
Participate in the search of business partners to develop our supply network

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelor's degree in business or you are working to complete your Bachelor's
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 3 to 5 years of related experience in sales
  High level of autonomy and professionalism;
Communication skills-ability to speak with the VP Operations as well as the drivers with similar comfort
