Functions:

Pro-actively seek and pursue new customers in order to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Interact with leads and prospects primarily via telephone, providing company and product information, live online demos or webinars and offering solutions to potential customer requirements.
Identify target industries and lead sources and initiate outbound calls to generate approximately 25% of total leads.
Manage and track the sales cycles of your prospects and maintain complete, timely and accurate records of your activity within the company’s CRM system.
?Correspond with leads and prospects in a professional manner using email and/or online chat tools.
?Represent the company, as required, by attending trade shows and other networking events in support of lead generation for the company.

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary education preferred
Languages Excellent English written and verbal communication, as over 90% of our customers and leads are in the US. French is not necessary.
Experience 2-5 year successful sales experience with inbound and outbound capability
Experience in selling business service products on a subscription basis and hosted software applications (asset)
Clear record of consistent overachievement in a competitive sales environment
Previous track record & success in “new sales” role, as opposed to account management & existing customer upgrades
Proven success in a short, transactional selling cycle: 30-45 days from initial contact to close
  Friendly, professional and positive self-starter
Proven, demonstrated skills required for the entire sales cycle, including prospecting & qualifying
