Our client is a well estbalished and structured dealer of recreational vehicules in the Outaouais area and has been in business for over 20 years. They are in search of a Sales Manager. TheSales Manager will be in charge of a team of 5 sales people. Our client is looking for someone with a high degree of integrity, an authentic personality and a strong team player.

Functions:

Establish monthly and annual budgets
Produce weekly and monthly progess reports on a timely basis
Produce weekly sales reports on a per rep basis
Plan and execute sales rep activities in an effort to coach sales people
Plan sales rep training and devleopment which include weekly sales training
Communicate:objectives,policies and procedures to ensure that they all posess a job description and performance evaluations
Plan the advertising and sales strategy budgets
Plan inventory numbers and mix while respecting the established objectives
Establish procedures and work methodology for the following: -prospects and walk ins -completion of the entire sales cycle of the sales reps -develop sales rep compensation plans -manage sales rep schedules to ensure top customer service -be responsible for the hiring and training of sales -organize the showroom -manage customer complaints with respect to sales -apply procedures concerning both new and used stock -apply procedures concerning exchanges -revise the sales rep action plan -coordinate company events, promotions and sales activities -support and coach in an effort to attain maximum sales results, maximum customer satisfaction and maximize profit
Coordinate activities between all departments
Coordinate sales training
Measure the performance of each sales person
Maintain a balanced inventory
verify and approve all orders
Analyze the ups and downs of sales performance and communicate to the person concerned

Job Requirements:

Academic *College degree of equivalent experience needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken), clients are mostly Francophone but English required for training and trade shows
Experience A minimum of 5 years as a Sales Manager
  Looking for a "straight shooter"who is comfortable tracking and managing the activity of his/her sales people
The ideal person is comfortable and welcomes team work with the other department managers
You must be comfortable managing the activities of your reps, analyzing the numbers and acting upon them
We are looking for a strong motivator; someone that people want to work for and has the ability to bring out the best in people
