Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of high temperature insulation. They are looking for a technical sales person to sell to industrial clients. Your role will be to work with your distributors across Eastern Canada and some end users. As the technical sales person, your role is to coach and train your distributors, accompany them on end-user calls and be the corporate representative for any questions, problems or queries. Functions:

Promotes the sales of products in our product line for the Eastern Canada, Maritime Providences, and Newfoundland territory. -Develops new accounts while maintaining existing business
Provides expertise on products and their applications to distributors and end users -Assess customer requirements
Increase market share for the product line and its applications -Build relationships and develop specifications -Train on applications at both end-user and distributor level
Drive business to distributors -Go on "4 legged" sales calls with distributors' reps -Train on product line

Job Requirements:

Academic B.S. degree in an engineering discipline is an asset
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 5 years selling experience to industrial clients is a must
  You take initiative -You have experience selling successfully through distributors -You have an aptitude to for teaching and guiding -You have a track record of success (over quota) -Must be able to travel to the U.S
