Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of automotive accessories and is looking for a Sales Manager who will manage a small team of reps who are located both in Canada and the US. You must have experience selling to small and medium sized distributors.

Functions:

Accompany sales reps on distributor -Coach reps in sales strategies
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments that affect target markets -Prepares regular reports on the state of the business
Prepares monthly and yearly forecasts -Participate in account planning with your reps and with your Director
Research and develop lists of potential customers -Oversee, manage, and assess sales rep performance

Job Requirements:

Academic Preference is for someone with a University degree
Languages Excellent spoken and written English required
Experience At least 7 years in a similar role -The candidate must demonstrate job stability ie not too many jobs in a short period of time
  Proven track record in coaching -Proven track record and accomplishments -Great resource for the sales people -Adds value to the sales people -Does not have a big ego
