Our client is a steel service center and is looking to hire an Inside Sales Manager to manage a team and about 75 accounts of their own and may be required to visit customers from time to time.You must have a management style that deals with problems and issues in an objective professional manner. Uses data and empirical information to deal with employees, colleagues, customers and never lets emotion get involved in these situations. You must be fair but firm. This is fast paced environment with an open office concept.

Functions:

Manage a team of 5 inside sales people
Ensure that company matrix is being followed concerning, new calls, proposals etc.
Follow up with sales people on upcoming projects with their customers
Be responsible for 75 accounts of your own
Be proactive with your customer base
Supports sales people with their quotes and customers
Coaches sales people to be better
Participates in the hiring of new resources if need be
Develop and retain your inside sales team and ensure that they are meeting and exceeding company set targets
Assist sales people to make offers to move inventory

Job Requirements:

Academic *Post DEC education preferably a University degree
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience At least 5 years experience managing an inside sales team
  Must have a strong retention for information and be organized such that follow up on tasks is thorough and timely.
Must have superior time management skills
