Our client is a leading provider of market research services for the pharmaceutical industry. The studies they provide are used to increase effectiveness and lower costs of activities pertaining to scientific communication, medical education or product/service marketing.

Functions:

Generating sales leads and delivering winning proposals
Building and growing productive relationships with assigned Pharma and Biotech clients.
Developing and executing sales plans
Implement sales and marketing strategies through various communication channels (personal selling, email, print, web-based, mobile applications).
Writing winning proposals, presenting service offerings and participating in the development of marketing materials under the guidance of the BU Head.
Have full understanding of our service capabilities in order to represent or recommend them to clients in order to meet client informational needs
Ensuring that research projects designed and implemented for our clients meet their desired business objectives.
Mentoring and supporting the research staff, when appropriate.

Job Requirements:

Academic Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Languages Excellent written and spoken English is required (French is considered an asset) * Additional language skill an asset
Experience 5 to 10 years experience in a Market Research organization with at least 2-3 years in a business development role.
  Proven ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with pharmaceutical clients
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to clearly communicate ideas (both written & verbally)
Strong organizational skills with an ability to successfully manage varying workloads/schedules
Comfort with numbers, statistics, graphs, charts
