Salary: $48,000.00 to $60,000.00

Our client is a long-standing sheet metal manufacturer who serves customers in the U.S and across Canada. Due to their growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced major account representative who can open new doors and new customers for them. They manufacture both off the shelf and custom made products. They set themself apart from their competition by their custom metal fabrication. They offer quality products and the ability to provide "start to finish" manufacturing or one stop shop.
Training:
On the job training provided but the candidate must come with significant industry experience.
Requirements
Academic: College degree or equivalent.
# years of experience: Minimum 5 years experience within the industry.
Language: * Strong communication skills in English as there are significant customers in English Canada and the U.S. * French is an asset.
Transferable contacts: Knowledge and contacts at OEMs who use metal as a prime ingredient in their production (purchasing, decision makers and supply chain).
Transferable knowledge: N/A
Travel (time): Availability to travel 10% to 20% of your time which includes tradeshows and non-Quebec based customers.
Other: * Entrepreneurial spirit. * Established sales professional who is well regarded by customers and staff. * Sales over achiever.

Other 1: * Prospect OEMs and customers who use a large % of metal in their manufacturing process. * Seek out new markets and use creative thinking to penetrate those markets.

Other 3: * Work with customers to work on their custom-made products. * Collaborate with company executives and clients in an effort to bring project to fruition.
