Company profile
Our client manufactures building products to which he sells to distributors and large OEMs. He is looking for a sales rep in for Québec and Atlantic Canada (mostly concentrated in the province of Québec) who can take care of distributors, OEMs ( manufacturers of kitchens, residential and office furniture etc.) and hunt for new business.
Training:
*2 week training in Toronto provided
Requirements
Academic: *College degree preferred
# years of experience: *5 years selling experience needed
Language: Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable knowledge: *Knowledge of the woodworking industry would be an asset
Travel (time): *No more than 15% overnight travel required
Other: *Has a "can-do"attitude *Very customer oriented

Development vs maintenance (%): 30% vs 70%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Other 1: *Maintain existing customer base *Train and assist the sales people at our distributors *Accompany them on sales calls as need be
Other 2: *Find new OEMs (end users of our products) *Submit weekly reports of your sales activities
Other 3: *Perform product demos for our distributors and customers *Educate our distributors and customers
Other 4: *Attend trade shows as needed
