Territory: Province of Quebec-mostly Mtl & Qc city
Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00
Monthly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Quarterly commissions + bonus: $0.00
Annual commissions + bonus: $10,000.00
Car allowance: $600 per month car allowance+ gas expenses
Public relations expenses: All reasonable expenses covered

Company profile
Our client is a long-standing distributor of industrial parts. The technical representative role is to grow the existing customer base by selling more and diversifying the products that clients presently buy. The candidate will also be responsible for development.
Training:
*2 week intensive training so that you can learn from each department
Requirements
Academic: *DEC in mechanical engineering is a minimum *Bachelor's in mechanical engineering would be an asset
# years of experience: *A minimum of 3 years outside industrial sales needed
Language: *Most of the clientele is Franchophone but bilingualism would be an asset
Transferable contacts: *The candidate must come from the industrial sales industry preferably selling to OEM's
Transferable knowledge: N/A
Travel (time): *About 10% to 15% overnight travel within the province of Quebec
Other: *Must be autonomous and a self-starter

Development vs maintenance (%): 70% vs 30%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Other 1: *Serve and sell to the existing base of customers in your assigned territory *Promote company products and image
Other 2: *Prospect new customers *Assist customers in their selection of products
Other 3: *Evaluate customer needs and evolution of their business in an effort to propose custom made solutions *Keep abreast of the competitive landscape with regards to new and innovative products and market conditions. React as is fit. *Communicate with customer after the sale to resolve issues and ensure follow ups are done
Other 4: *Negotiate and present pricing agreements where necessary *Provide information on customer fact-finding on product development to internal departments so that they may be adapted to the client's needs
