Profile: Our client sells incentive and loyalty programs to companies across Canada who want to recognize their people. We are looking for a Business Development Rep who will work on finding and developing major accounts. You will be selling to large corporate clients, law firms etc and will have experience selling a service with a lengthy sales cycle. Many of these programs involve travel to upscale destinations for both employees and customers. You will create tailored solutions for each client.
Territory: Greater Toronto Area
Workplace: Home office (must be based in the GTA)
Products/Services: Incentive and loyalty programs
Salary: Base $100,000
Commissions/Bonus:$150,000 at 100% of plan
Car allowance: $0.70/km
Expense’s reimbursement: Corporate credit card for corporate expenses

Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required
Years of experience: At least 5 years sales in the service industry

Functions:
- Research industries and potential clients using various sources; build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Engage with clients through networking, cold calling, and social media; present customized solutions for incentive travel, rewards, and loyalty programs.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track progress and develop strategic insights.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth transition to internal teams for program implementation.
- Gather client requirements, collaborate with internal teams, and present tailored business solutions.
- Work closely with leadership, creative, and marketing teams to drive business growth; participate in training and marketing activities.
