Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of elevators sold to contractors and builders. In addition they work with architects and designers and distributors. We are looking for a bilingual Montreal-based business developer to develop those markets. You will also sell our maintenance contracts to non-clients

Territory: Quebec and Ontario (part of the US)
Workplace: Work from home (local to Montreal)
Products/Services: Elevators
Salary: Base $70,000-$80,000
Commissions/Bonus: $30,000 - $60,000 at 100% of plan
Car allowance: $/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Act as the primary point of contact for architects and designers (A&D) in the assigned territory
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the A&D market segment
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote our products and services  to contractors and builders.
  • Identify potential distributors in Quebec, Ontario, Maritimes
  • Estimate costs and write quotes to prospects. Regular follow-ups with pending quotes
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to architects, designers, contractors, and builders.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed about industry developments.

Languages: French and English
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Up to 15% overnight travel
Years of experience: at least 3+ years in a similar role
