Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of construction materials used by homeowners and condo owners. This role is manage distributors across Canada and manage both inside and outside sales reps. The National Sales Manager will be responsible le for managing the relationships with the distributors and establishing and directing the KPIs of their team members.

Salary: Base $100,000-$150,000
Commissions/Bonus: 20% of base annually
Car allowance: $900+ $0.22/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English required
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Training: On the job but we are looking for someone who has done this before.
Overnight Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel required
Years of experience: At least 10 years experience setting up distributors in construction materials needed
Other requirements: Maintains excellent relationships and has a great reputation in the industry
Transferable contacts: Contacts within the construction industry, namely distributors across Canada
Transferable Knowledge:

- reach out to your contacts within the industry to introduce our products
- Develop new distributors across Canada
- Manage sales team members
- Develop business plans with distributors
- Ensure salespeople at distributors are adequately trained on our products
- Maintain relationships with architects and designs
- Participate in trade shows
- Participate in the hiring of people for our tradeshows
Requirements:
