Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of material handling equipment used in warehouses across the world. We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in Montreal to handle a group of customers across Eastern Canada. Your role will be to manage the customer base and upsell to them. The person we seek is detail-oriented and customer service oriented in their approach to customers and knows how warehouses work. Please provide resume in English.

Salary: Base $100,000
Commissions/Bonus: Up to $26,000 annually (paid out both quarterly and annually)

Development vs Maintenance: 10% vs 90%
Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%
Languages: French and English (written and spoken)
Education: Post-secondary necessary
Training: Full training provided
Overnight Travel:1 week per year to Eastern territory + 1-2x per year to the US + 1 week training in Europe
Years of experience: At least 2 years material handling preferred
Other requirements: You are autonomous and conscientious (you do the right thing even if no one is looking)

Functions:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Visit customers on a regular basis
- Collaborate closely with the internal sales team to manage account history, pricing, terms, delivery, technical support, and other customer needs
- Effectively present products with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Provide expert consultation to customers on application-related questions.
- Operate remotely while driving new business development across Quebec and the Maritimes.
- Maintain detailed records of activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Take ownership of regional forecasting and sales tracking.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and a persistent focus on prospecting and closing sales
