Profile: Our client is a leading manufacturer of equipment and consumables sold to food retailers. They are on the lookout for a representative with a proven track record to increase sales and market share within the Greater Area of Montreal both with existing and new clients. You have experience selling to retailers/groceries. Please send your resume in English.

Territory: Province of Quebec (mostly Montreal and surroundings)
Workplace: Home Office (local to Montreal)
Products/Services: Specialty retail equipment
Salary: Base $65,000-$70,000
Commissions/Bonus: Approximately $20,000 at 100% of plan
Car allowance: $ 850.00/ month car allowance + company gas card
Expense’s reimbursement: As per company policy

Functions:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships
• Travel across Quebec to meet with retailers, understand their needs, and recommend tailored solutions
• Present and demo innovative retail technologies that improve efficiency and customer experience
• Prepare value-driven proposals and quotations based on client goals
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, tech, product) to deliver compelling sales presentations
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings to build your network and industry knowledge
• Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM tools regularly

  
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Languages: French and English (bilingual)
Education: College degree (DEC) or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel needed
Years of experience: 3 to 5 years sales experience, especially selling to retailers
Other requirements: 

• Must be confident and demonstrate good business ethics
• You're e go-getter
• Valid driver’s license and passport

Transferable contacts: Contacts within retailers such as grocers are a must
Transferable Knowledge:

• Tech-curious with strong problem-solving instincts
• Comfortable on the road and working independently
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
