Profile: Our client sells playground equipment to municipalities and schools across the province of Quebec. We are looking for a sales rep who will be in charge of taking growing the business and taking care of existing customers. You need to be comfortable in dealing with government officials working at cities/municipalities as well as presenting our products to architects and designers who will specify our products to their clients.

Salary: Base $60,000
Commissions/Bonus: $25,000
Car allowance: $0.55/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 20% vs 80% (lots of meetings via Teams/Zoom)
Languages: Excellent written and spoken French needed
Education: DEC in administration (sales and marketing option
Training: On the jb provided and that of CSA standards
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required
Years of experience: 2-3 years or more experience in a similar role
Other requirements: You posses strong follow up skills
Transferable contacts: Experience dealing with schools and municipalities is an asset

- Develop new customer accounts by identifying potential prospects
- Conduct research to discover new business opportunities
- Understand their needs and expectations to offer suitable solutions
- Maintain regular and quality communication with customers
- Conduct regular lunch and learns with the architect and designer community
- Monitor government websites for upcoming projects
- Participate in trade shows throughout Quebec
