Territory Manager (Alberta)
Territory: Alberta and Northeastern part of BC

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.
Our customer is a distributor and manufacturer and is the Canadian leader in industrial hardware. The job will report to the National sales manager. The Sales Representative will be responsible for drivng sales within their assigned territory. You will cultivate relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts. (40% maintain - 60% development). Part of your role will be to work closely with the distributor network to find new opportunities.
Territory: Alberta and Northeastern part of BC
Workplace: Work from home
Products/Services: Industrial hardware (fasteners, anchors, bolts, hinges etc...)
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000
Commissions/Bonus: $25,000 (existing base of customers)
Car allowance: $700/month plus gas card
Expense’s reimbursement: all related business expenses reimbursed
Other Benefits:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director;
Responsible of providing weekly report to Sales Director.
Assist and participate to sales meetings, maintain productive relationships with your peers at key accounts, national accounts and enterprise accounts
Stay abreast of market demands and questions and offers from competition, leverage it's knowledge to contribute to the development of sales campaigns to customers
Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts business by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in the customer's business
Press the profitability and efficiency of the customer with customized solutions, sell all product lines while leveraging components of pricing to ensure they have profitable business
Keep education client meetings and product information to ensure that the customer knows what products are available.
Acting as a link between customers and branches assigned to help resolve problems, as needed (accounts receivable, billing and service).
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Languages: English
Education: College diploma
Training: Intensive one (1) month training, inside the office, order desk and on the road with other Sales Representatives. (based on the location of the rep)
Overnight Travel: 50% to 75% of travelling overnight
Years of experience: Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales, preferable in industrial markets and/or automotive
Other requirements:
3 to 5 years of proven territory management
Developed customers relationships, identifies business opportunities, resolve problems in a timely manner, keep and grow business
The ideal candidate must be energetic and professional with superior communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Result and action oriented.
