Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client sells heavy equipment and the service contracts associated with them. We are looking for a District Sales Manager who will be responsible for sales across Quebec and the Maritimes. You will manage an inside sales team, direct and coach and outside sales team and be responsible for key accounts in your industry.

Territory: Quebec and Maritimes

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Heavy equipment service contracts

Salary: Base $90,000 to $130,000

Commissions/Bonus: 30% of base

Car allowance: Vehicle and gas card provided

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Lead growth through certain markets
  • Identify and pursue   key accounts and lead in acquiring and growing them
  • Direct and guide regional salespeople
  • Lead a culture for growth
  • Assist on sales calls with salespeople
  • Coach and develop salespeople in your region
  • Manage inside sales team
  • Perform 1 on 1 coaching
  • Train as needed
  • Manage KPIs
  • Support and lead recruitment in your territory

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: French and English

Education: University degree or comparable work experience needed

Training: Full and detailed training provided

Overnight Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 10 years of successful selling and sales management experience required

  • Able to work in a matrix environment
  • Strong influential style
  • Strong strategic selling skills
  • Strong sales coaching skills
  • Industrial sales experience is a must
