Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.


Our client is a provider of telecom services and solutions with customers across Canada.

They strive to be the best at providing secure connections as well as being the best at helping their customers manage their network and cyber security needs. They are looking to hire an Major Account rep whose role will be to develop a targeted list of major account prospects. The Major Account Rep will be responsible for the full sales cycle and will spend 100% of their time doing business development.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Telecom and IT services

Salary:$80 000-$100,000

Commissions/Bonus: $55 000 at plan + $ for over achievements

Car allowance: $ per KM

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in your target market.

You will strategically develop a list of named accounts
You will be responsible for your sales cycle from start to end
You will be responsible for guiding and assisting the client in a technical way
You will make presentations in front of groups of decision makers, including engineers
Building proposals and quotations for your customers
Optimize sales within existing accounts
You will be autonomous in the way of managing your KPIs (number of visits, calls, etc. ..) and you will be responsible for achieving a quarterly sales quota

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0% (within named accounts)

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: Bilingualism

Education: Post secondary education

Training:   full training available

Overnight Travel: N/A except for training

Years’ of experience:5-10 years experience in a business development role

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

Knowledge of the telecom world is a must

Knowledge of the sale cycles within major accounts is a must

Knowledge of IT services is an asset

Knowledge of SalesForce will be considered an asset
