Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile:  Our client makes and sells software that is sold to the event industry. We are looking for an inside sales rep for a growing company. Your role will be twofold; make calls to prospects and handle and qualify all inbound calls. You must be comfortable selling and explaining our software, able to articulate our benefits and book a follow up meeting with our Business Development Rep. If you have had success in business development using the phone and other technology tools, this may be the role for you. Most of your selling will be done in English in the US and globally.

Salary: $50,000

Commissions/Bonus: $10,000-$15,000

  • Develop new prospects using the phone, social media and other tools
  • Follow up on inbound calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Log all sales activities in company CRM
  • Develop a proven method of following up with clients and prospects
  • Work in conjunction with Business Development rep and company president
  • Identify key influencers within prospect account
  • Uncover prospect needs and pain points
  • Analyze funnel and funnel reports

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100% (except for occasional tradeshow)

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, French is an asset

Education:    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience needed

Training: On the job training will be provided

Overnight Travel: No overnight except for 1 tradeshow attendance per year

Years’ of experience: 1-3 years inside sales experience needed

Other requirements:

  • Strong work ethic
  • A successful track record of inside sales needed
  • Ability to speak and convince C level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales and activity quotas
