Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client offers bespoke, innovative and interactive teaching tools to the educational field on a global scale. Their goal is to facilitate teaching and learning while stimulating student motivation through these solutions. We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for an existing client base in the education sector. This person will have to work independently and be open to travel up to 40% of the time. Please note that this is an 18-month contract.

Territory: Montreal and the Maritimes

Workplaces: Office at home  

Products and services: Educational publications

Salary: $ 50,000-$ 60,000

Commissions and bonuses: $ 23,000

Car allowance: $ 1,000 / month + gas

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses are refunded by the company

  • Establish long-lasting and close relationships with existing accounts, and grow them
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Identify, track and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Build and execute sales strategies for your territory with very little supervision
  • Educate, inform and keep customers updated about best practices and news in the field of education
  • Work remotely with several internal departments in order to generate sales (marketing, internal sales, publishing)
  • Use CRM to its full potential by entering information daily

Job Requirements:


Development vs customer retention (%): 30% VS 70% (in the existing customer base)

On the road vs. office (%): 70% VS 30%

Language: French and English (written and spoken)

Education: The university degree (BAC) is required. We will run studies background check.

Training: Training will be provided by the company, but the person must know and have already sold to the education sector

Travel (%): Up to 40% off-province travel will be required at certain times of the year.

Number of years of experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales to the education sector
