Our client is a leading customs brokerage, freight and logistics provider. This position is for an account executive focused on business development and client relationship management.Functions:
Within a pre-defined geographic territory, develop a Strategic Territory Plan that will include the Identification of high and medium potential accounts; use a contact management plan to systematically introduce company to these prospects; plan must include the use of pre-established promotional vehicles, including seminars, direct mail, lead generation program, company newsletters, as well as personal contact - Within a pre-defined portfolio of accounts, the AE Increase account share over time in a planned, strategic manner by introducing brokerage solutions, International Freight Forwarding, Consulting and software opportunities.
Conduct thorough needs assessments of prospects cross-border supply chain -Identify opportunities for company solutions
Present company solutions while maximizing value-add components of our offerings that directly benefit prospect’s situation -Develop strategic account plans in cooperation with CSM and Team Leader
Work closely with Client Service Manager , Service Coordinator and Manager of Service Delivery in successful implementation of new clients and ensuring proper communication among all stakeholders. -Plan and evaluate implementations
Job Requirements:
Academic | Post secondary degree or diploma |
Languages | Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) |
Experience | A minimum of 5 progressive sales experience, preferably focusing on the relationship management and selling of key accounts. |
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. -Ability to recognize, resolve issues and make effective decisions. -Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure. -Excellent planning and organizational skills. -High work standards and attention to detail. |
