Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of wellness medical devices and has recently created a position of Sales Manager. Your role will be to manager a few distributors, grow the number of distributors and as well as an inside sales team. Your role will be to develop a sales plan and strategy to grow sales. You will establish sales quotas and standards for the sales department. The ideal candidate understands the US market, has set up a distribution network and is comfortable with the industry of wellness medical devices. As we manufacture high-end products, the Sales Manager has experience selling value and higher end products. The Sales Manager will also evaluate whether a direct sales team is warranted.

Territory: North America

Work Place: Home office

Products/Services: Wellness medical devices

Salary: Base $70,000-$75,000

Commissions/Bonus: $50,000 at plan, uncapped commissions

Car allowance: $0.50/km

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Develop and execute a sales plan
  • Manage sales objectives with KPIs
  • Manage the re seller network.
  • Negotiate re sellers' contracts
  • Manage and motivate inside sales team
  • Benchmark our products against those of our competition
  • Represent our company at various industry events
  • Ensure after-sales customer service
  • Share recommendations for added visibility (example social media)
  • Manage the development of our social media campaigns

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English

Education: College degree required

Training: On the job training provided (technical, within the plant and with company president)

Overnight Travel: Up to 10% overnight travel

Years’ of experience: At least 5 years in a similar role needed

Other requirements: You know how to sell value

Transferable contacts: Experience in the medical devices field an asset

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Experience managing sales teams is a must
  • Experience setting up a sales team is an asset
  • Knowledge of the wellness industry is an asset
