Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client sells software and telecommunication services to Canadian and US companies. We are looking for a lead generator who will work hand in hand with the seller to generate opportunities. You will make calls to the lists of qualified customers and those showing interest in the many shows we attend. Your role will be to respond to their request for information, assess their needs, qualify them, in order to organize a meeting between the client and the representative. Salary: $55,000

Commissions/Bonus: commission (not capped at) $ 20,000 if you reach your appointment goals + additional quarterly bonus for overachiever

  • Call prospects from the lists provided by the company, they come from the web, industry events, or partners
  • Qualify prospects by asking probing questions
  • Assess their needs and the measures in which we can help them
  • Establish a relationship of trust with prospects
  • Organize appointments between the client and the sales representative (including or not demos with the engineer)
  • Quotas of 225 calls per week
  • Objectives of 22 quality conversations per week
  • Book 6 sales appointments per week
  • Follow up with your prospects
  • Enter information in the CRM regularly

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 0% vs   100%

Languages: English perfectly written and spoken

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel needed

Years’ of experience: between 3 to 7 years of relevant and stable experience is required

Other requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and activity management skills needed
  • Sales-driven and team player
  • Ability to build long lasting relation and sell to C-Level

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:  

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications sector, unified communication, VOIP and other wireless technologies is preferable and represents a major asset
  • Knowledge of the cloud and the IT sector is an asset
