Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client provides online booking services to individuals and is looking to hire a Sales Manager who will lead a team of sales people as they sell to the different companies who will be part of our online booking system. The individual we seek has experience in leading a sales team and in the online booking world.

Salary: Base $80,000-$100,000

Commissions/Bonus: $15,000

  • Responsible for hitting growth and sales targets
  • Define the appropriate sales strategies for your market
  • Hire, train and mentor sales professionals
  • Set KPIs and standards for your office
  • Perform regular performance reviews
  • Oversee partnership growth strategy
  • Manage and work on key accounts
  • Monitor, research and report findings on market developments
  • Work closely with other team members to increase listings' visibility, in particular PR, content and translation teams

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience needed

Training:   On the job training

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required

Years’ of experience:

  • At least 2 years managing a sales team at a senior level
  • At least 2 years hiring your own sales team
  • You are a positive influence on your people

Other requirements:

  • Experience managing a team of at least 8 people
  • Able to foster strong teamwork
  • You are driven and proactive
  • Comfortable and able to manage significant change

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the leisure or tourism industry needed

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Understanding of ecommerce, tourism and leisure needed
  • Experience with CRM applications, ideally Salesforce
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret customer insights to unearth new opportunities
