Profile: Our client offers translation and localization services to companies in the medical, pharmaceutical, marketing, tourism, legal, food and other industries. They are expanding and they are looking for a business development manager whose job will be 85% developing the business and 15% managing the office. We want to hire a person who is perfectly bilingual with a dynamic and adaptable attitude. We're looking for someone with an experience as a team leader but more specifically a true hunter!

Salary: $75 000-$80 000
Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 Uncapped commissions

Develop new clients using prospecting strategies such as cold calling, mass emails, network events, social media optimization, email follow-ups and more.
Develop new markets within Canada and new accounts over the phone and face to face
Responsible for developing the public market as well as small to large enterprises
Create your own contacts while boosting the contact base provided by the employer, as well as qualifying prospects.
Provide follow-up regarding quotes by phone and email
Participation in networking events, conferences and trade shows to promote the company's services
Act as an Office manager (15% of your role) and manage a small team of 18 people (managing work hours for instance and being the point of contact for the head quarter in Europe)
Assist 2 junior sales people and act as a coach, help them achieving their sales goals, showing by example
Be the point of contact for the management team based in Europe and the United States.
Development vs Maintenance: 90% VS 10%
Road vs Office: 40% VS 60%
Languages: French and English (written and spoken)
Education: A bachelor's degree will be highly considered
Training: Full training will be provided by the employer

Years of experience: 5 years selling business services and 1 year of experience as a team leader or managing a team
Must be flexible and adaptable to change
Must be focused on developing sales for the Montreal office
Knowledge of technologies and Office Suite
Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with little supervision
Transferable contacts: Contacts within the industry will be highly considered
Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge in the field of translation will be a strong asset
