Functions:

-Research for prospects and business opportunities within an assigned territory

-Research in your specific market

-Research within companies that you are prospecting in order to find the decision makers

-Making targeted cold calls

-Engage complex sales cycles by approaching C-level

-Manage a healthy pipeline

-Secure demos for the external sales department

-Use social media (LinkedIn and others) to develop your pipeline

- Achieving and exceeding the expectations of your sales manager (objectives in terms of potential revenue in your pipeline)

On the Road vs Office (%): Internal Position

Language: English-Written and Spoken  

Education: Post-secondary degree is required

Training: Internal training within multiple departments

Number of years experience: 2 years in the field of technology and in a business development role
