Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Our client sells customized solutions (ranging from hardware to software) for the retail market.  We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients. The Account Manager understands the reality of the retail market as well as its challenges, has several years of experience in corporate sales in the retail sector and recognizes new opportunities within existing accounts and new customers.
 

Territory: Canada (Vertical territory)

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Point of sale (POS) hardware and software

Salary: Base $55,000 - $65,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000 - $50,000

Car allowance: $500/month + $0.12/km

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

Be on the lookout for any ongoing projects with your existing customers and respond to requests for changes or any other demands

 
Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and retailers
 
Being on the lookout for any issues between production, delivery  and the customer and proactively find solutions  
 
Developing IT solutions corresponding to the needs of the customer and get the approval with necessary internal department in order to deliver the project on time
 
Offering a wide range of products and services and increase the revenue of the territory by cross-selling
 
Prospecting   new clients and ensure the growth of the portfolio
 
Presence in some networking event related to the industry

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 30% vs 70%

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree  

Training: Detailed training on the products and solutions however, the person needs experience developing major accounts in the retail market

Overnight Travel: 2 to 5 days a month

Years’ of experience: 5 years developing in the retail industry

Other requirements:

-Able to recognize opportunities
-Have a successful track record in developing accounts in   retail
-You   understand the challenges of retailers and have expertise in the  
field

Transferable contacts: Experience selling to retailers is a must have

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of POS systems is an asset
