Profile:Our client is in the specialty food sector and he’s looking to hire an inside sales rep to take care of a base of customers and bring new business. Your role will be to manage the accounts assigned to you as well as up-selling them. You have a stable career are meticulous, detail-oriented and knows how to turn information into business insight.

Territory: Québec & Ontario

Workplace: Saint-Laurent

Products/Services: specialty and perishable vegetables

Salary: $70,000+ (flexible base on experience)

Commissions/Bonus: annual performance bonus and commission plan to be discussed

Car allowance: N/A

Expenses reimbursement: all reasonable business expenses will be refunded

Job Requirements:

Development vs. Maintenance of accounts (%): 30% vs. 70%

Road vs. Office (%): 10% vs. 90%

Languages: English and French

Education: post-secondary degree in business, psychology or any pertinent field

Training: on-the-job training

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years of experience: 5-10 years of sales experience in or with relation to the perishable food industry within an SMB

Other requirements:

  • Ability to up-sell assigned existing accounts and develop new businesses
  • Ability to turn customer and market information into business insights
  • Being proactive and provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of SAP and iTrade
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritizing skills
  • Autonomous and intrapreneurial skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take and make constructive criticism
