Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of mechanical and industrial fasteners used by a variety of industries which include mining, food, manufacturing etc. The role of the territory manager is to manage the relationships with both distributors and end users and grow the territory revenue. You will be hands on with your clients and distributors. Please provide your resume in English.

Products/Services: Fastening products used in manufacturing and industrial environments

Salary: Base of $85,000 US dollars 1st year

Commissions/Bonus:$40,000-$50,000 in commissions which start year 2

Car allowance:Car provided

  • Conduct in-person customer/end-user visits
  • Call on a variety of customers from mining, food production, agriculture, textile and wood products
  • Call on distributors to train them on our products, installation and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate the performance of our distributors and select new distributors as need be
  • Train end-users on our products specifically on sales and safety
  • Work with distributors to manage their inventory
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape
  • Create annual sales and market plans
  • Maintain up to date records in CRM
  • Work with other departments and participate in company-led functions

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages:French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience


  • 2 weeks onboarding
  • Industry training of 3-4 days
  • Training alongside other territory managers

Overnight Travel: Up to 10 days per month of overnight travel

Years’ of experience: 5 years industrial sales experience with material handling industry experience preferred

Other requirements: Must be able to visit clients who are in food in a clean room as well as mining which can be outdoors in harsh conditions

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the mining industry is a huge asset

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Facility establishing and maintaining long-term relationships
  • Manage and update CRM regularly
  • Comfortable training distributors
