Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a national provider of insurance and is looking for a Quebec city based Account executive whose role it will be to drive and influence our products to financial advisors. This role involves a high amount of activities ie face to face meetings, relationship building and presentation skills. As a wholesale rep, you will be meeting, interacting and educating your customer base on the features and benefits of our existing and new products.  

Territory: Quebec city and surroundings

Work Place: Home Office

Products/Services: Insurance products

Salary: $70,000- $85,000

Commissions/Bonus: 50% of base

Car allowance: $0.52/km

Expenses reimbursement: Budget for activities provided

• Regularly call on brokers, advisors and managing general agents to introduce our product portfolio to them
• Participate in regular face to face meetings to discover needs and educate them on our products
• Educate and direct our distribution partners to help with their clients
• Build territory strategy to maximise potential in territory
• Educate principals and their advisors by doing lunch and learns
• Gather market intelligence
• Input accurate sales and client information into our CRM
• Attend industry events

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education:  

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have LLQP license

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Less than 5% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 3-5 years in a similar role

Other requirements:  

• Criminal and credit background check required with clean driving record
