Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a growing company in the transport industry and is looking to add a new position of VP marketing and development position. Your role is to transform how the organization goes to market. You will be tasked with ensuring that our go-to-market strategy is established. You will do so by understanding our services, our different vertical markets and our sales teams. You will then coach and train the branch managers, sales reps and VP sales to look at customers as a whole and cross sell our different services. Another important function of yours will be to look at our branding strategy and change it, if need be. You will be in charge   of marketing, branding, coaching, training and developing a sales strategy.

Territory: Canada

Work Place: West Island

Products/Services: Transportation services

Salary: Base $150,000-$200,000

Commissions/Bonus: Bonus on company results

Car allowance: $800/month + gas car

Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed

  • Meet all stakeholders such as branch managers and VP sales
  • Meet with sales people and their customers to determine gaps in training
  • Build company wide KPIs with buy-in from stakeholders
  • Look at company branding and determine what changes need to be done
  • Determine and establish a strategy for marketing our services
  • Sell this strategy to the sales and marketing team
  • Coach branch managers, sales people and VP sales on the vision

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: N/A

Road vs Office: 15% vs 85%

Languages: French and English

Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education

Training: On the job training provided but we are looking for someone with a track record

Overnight Travel: 2-3 days per month

Years’ of experience: At least 5 years marketing management experience with a track record of transformation
