Our customer, a distributor of warehouse equipment (boxes, shelving units, packaging equipment,..), has been firmly anchored in Quebec. The company deploys its activities in an environment while using technology in order to ensure a fast and effective service everywhere in its sphere of activities. It distributes high quality North-American products  within Canada which ensures that their customers invest in the best possible equipment. Looking for an account manager that had prior success selling industrial and technical products to managers of medium and large companies for manufacturing and industrial applications. Your communication skills are excellent and you enjoy developing relationships with your current clients and prospects

Work Place: Montreal and possibility to work from home

Products/Services:  Warehouse equipment

Salary: $65,000 to $65,000

Commissions and bonus: TBD

Car allowance: KM allowance up to $700 a month

  • Selling industrial and technical warehouse products to managers of medium and large companies for manufacturing and industrial applications
  • Developing relationships with your current clients and prospects and maintaining them
  • Getting the right person at the top of the organisation when finding new deals
  • Helping customers improving their operations and provide solutions
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Support customer relationships
  • Your communication skills are excellent and you enjoy developing relationships with your current clients and prospects

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training
  • Communicate with all departments to ensure excellent customer service

Job Requirements:

Requirements:  

Development vs Maintenance: 75% vs 25%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages:   Bilingual  

Education:D.E.C.  

Training: in house training

Years’ of experience:  3-5 years of outside sales experience

  • You have the ability to learn quickly and think of your feet

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, ability to learn CRM application and understand company ERP basic features)
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
