Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells business services to retailers, manufacturers and industrial companies. We are looking for an Account executive who will be trained but is equally great at hunting and account management. This role would be great for someone who is results-oriented, strong on activity management and self-motivated. Your role will be to sell the value of our business services rather than the cheapest price, maintain a high level of activities and pipeline and overachieve. The successful account executive will be someone comfortable with technology, performs well not being micromanaged and has a high degree of accountability.  

Territory: Province of Quebec and Ottawa

Work Place: Laval

Products/Services: Business services

Salary: Base $50,000 to $55,000

Commissions/Bonus: Commissions and Bonus of $25,000 at 100%.  

Car allowance: Company car + gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Develop a strategy to identify clients within our target market space
  • Manage your prospect list using tools such as our CRM
  • Provide regular updates which include monthly forecasts and revisions to the sales plan
  • Develop relationships high and wide within your clients and prospects
  • Engage in value selling
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Input information in our CRM regularly

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education: Post-secondary education preferred

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Less than 10% overnight required

Years’ of experience: 5 years of b2b outside sales experience with a track record of acquiring new business is required

Other requirements:  

  • Excellent prospecting skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Well developed in Microsoft Suite
