Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of home products. They are looking for a Key account manager to manage Costco online and other global accounts based in the United States in order to meet the company’s sales goals. You will be charged with the smooth running of the accounts daily. The accounts to manage are largely online and we need someone who has experience with e-commerce in order to work with the customer's portal. There will also be an international part of the role where, if you spoke Spanish, it would an asset.

Territory: United States

Workplace: Montreal or Toronto

Products/Services: Home products

Salary: $80,000 to $120,000

Commissions/Bonus: Up to 20% annual bonus

Car allowance: N/A

  • Executing e-commerce sales strategies
  • Manage online product listings
  • Responsible for the development and execution of marketing and merchandising programs in support of the retailers.
  • Edit/Enter products into Retailer Websites and coordinate with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing etc)
  • Communicates on e-accounts key actions, ongoing negotiations and foreseen results
  • Prepare quotes, presentations and business reviews and ensure follow ups on a ongoing basis
  • Develop all strategies required to meet/exceed the sales goals
  • Able to manage P&L (profit and loss)
  • Creating product offers and promotional activities to support and increase market share
  • Ensure the smooth running of accounts assigned to you
  • Maintain great relationships with the different product managers or category managers
  • Keep planograms up to date and optimize individual presentation
  • Provide detailed quotes to customers

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, Spanish an asset

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training provided but must have e-commerce experience on the retail side  

Overnight Travel: Less than 10%

Years’ of experience: At least 5 years in a similar role

Other requirements: Experience managing a key account is necessary

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
