Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: My client is a manufacturer of heating products sold into the US and Canada. They are continually growing and are now looking to add an Inside sales rep to their sales team. You will be tasked with calling into an existing customer base, growing that base and contacting prospects to grow to customers.   You will be calling into industrial, transportation, energy and manufacturing accounts.   You will perform outbound calling as well as following up on leads that we receive from various sources. You will work other more senior members of the team to learn the ins and outs technically but you must come with a basic technical knowledge and curiosity. If you are an over achiever, perseverant   and looking for growth this opportunity might be for you.  

Territory: Canada and the US

Work Place:Montreal

Products/Services: Heating products sold to OEMs and end users

Salary:45,000$ (salary revision after 1 year in the role)

Commissions/Bonus: $15,000$ - $20,000, uncapped commissions

  • Contact all inbound leads within a prescribed time
  • Document all sales activities within company CRM
  • Implicate company engineers when need be
  • Work closely with senior sales individuals
  • You will be given leads from different sources and asked to convert them into active customers
  • You will be calling into dormant accounts to try and win back their business
  • Provide feedback to lead generators
  • Provide follow ups
  • Keeping the customer data base up to date
  • Constantly and consistently achieve company-set KPI's
  • Work in collaboration with Engineers on customer products and quotes
  • Grow customer base year over year
  • Learn company products

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance:80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100%

Languages: Bilingual (must be advanced in English)  

Education:Post secondary education

Training:In house training but must have a technical base to work with

Years’ of experience: 3-5 years in a similar role

Other requirements:
