Profile: Our client provides renovation and construction services to homeowners and businesses on the island of Montreal. They pride themselves on their excellent service given in a timely fashion and provide measurable service level agreements to clients. They use technology to estimate and measure how they are doing; employees are measured individually and as a team based on their KPIs.

We are looking for a sales project manager who will be responsible for the successful completion of various restoration projects as well as getting new businesses with B2B and B2C customers. The sales projects manager is responsible for visiting the job sites, estimating, and managing projects with an emphasis on budget and time, maintaining the communication with all stakeholders, managing subcontractors, creating new business opportunities, and ensuring a high level of service.

Workplace: West Island (from home at the beginning)

Salary: $50,000 base

Commissions/Bonus: At 100% of your objectives $36,000

Car allowance: vehicle provided + gas cards

Functions:

  • Answer claims in a timely manner
  • Build existing client (B2B and B2C) relationships and generate new leads
  • Perform sites inspections

  • Prepare accurate scopes and estimates for services, job costing and subcontractors
  • Manage project budgets/estimates
  • Analyze project profitability, revenue margins, and bill rates
  • Communicate with stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Meet or exceed customer Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Meet or exceed your KPIs (monthly sales, yearly objectives, gross margin, and SLA).
  • Available to respond to 24-hour emergency calls within on-call rotations
  • Create and execute project planner and revise accordingly to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Apply and enforce regulated Health and Safety protocols on sites
  • Ensure project documentation/notes are complete, current, and uploaded in Xactimate
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, monitor receivables for your projects, and follow up with clients regarding unpaid invoices.

Job Requirements:

Sales vs. Project Management (%): 30% vs. 70%

Road vs. Office (%): 50% vs. 50%

Languages:   French and English required

Education:     Graduate programs in construction, engineering technology or equivalent

                      IICRC certification is an asset

Training: provided on the role and on construction estimating

Years of experience: 2 years in a similar position
