Our client is a Quebec-based SMB in the field of new technologies more specifically for car dealerships. Do you have any experience in this industry, or have you been yourself a car sales representative, but want a more strategic role today? This position would allow you to benefit from your expertise, while being on the road doing B2B business development. You will be responsible for growing and managing your territory and achieving your sales objectives by selling a new technology, developing and maintaining relationships with car dealerships.
Work Place: Home Office
Products/Services: Platform for car dealerships
Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 to $15,000 year 1
Car allowance: $ per KM
Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed
You will be responsible for the management of a virgin geographical territory autonomously; from prospecting new clients to signing corporate agreements.
- Prospect via cold calling car dealerships in the Ottawa region
- Input sales activities daily into CRM
- Deliver proposals to car dealership owners and their sales managers
- Submit weekly sales reports
- Meet daily and weekly company-set KPIs
- Plan your territory calls and activities regularly
- Work with customer service department to ensure a smooth transition
Development vs Maintenance: 90% VS 10%
Road vs Office: 80% VS 20%
Languages: Written and spoken English (French will be considered an asset)
Education: Post-Secondary diploma
Training: 1 week of intensive training in Montreal
Overnight Travel: NA
Years’ of experience: 1 to 5 years in a b2b sales role

Transferable contacts: Contacts within dealerships is a strong asset
- Have sold to the same client base would be an asset.
- A background and knowledge of cold calling and quota achievement in a competitive field is necessary
