Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal.

Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of hard goods and has the need for a franchise manager. Your role will be to   ensure compliance to company standards, help business owners, build relationships and help franchisees grow to another level. You have influence rather than exert power over your franchisees. You are a hands-on manager who is there to work hand in hand and find solutions. You will help the business owners implement development plans, find new opportunities within their businesses and support their day to day.

Territory: Canada and the US

Workplace: Laval

Products/Services: Hard goods  

Salary: Base $100,000-$120,000

Commissions/Bonus: 20% bonus

Car allowance: N/A

  • Regularly communicate with franchisees to get to know their businesses
  • Make recommendations to help them grow their business
  • Work hand in hand with franchise principals
  • Mutually agree, with agent principals, on development plans
  • Partner with principals to diagnose their day to day and chronic issues
  • Identify areas for growth
  • Lead team meetings with franchise principals
  • Ensure brand compliance
  • Ensure that franchisees are following procedures
  • Use influence rather than force to build the company brand and yours
  • Leverage company resources
  • Serve as a franchise advocate during annual meetings

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: N/A

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: Excellent spoken and written English, French

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training but must come with franchise experience

Overnight Travel: Up to 25% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience:At least 8 years in a similar position needed

Other requirements: Must come with a franchisor/franchisee background

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Experience drawing up and executing franchise agreements
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong project management skills
