Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client sells construction services and is looking for a Sales Manager to manage a team of 10 salespeople and customer service reps, grow the team, set KPIs, coach and lead a team to best practices in sales and customer service. You are a hands-on manager who enjoys coaching alongside and knows that successful sales management is both science and art.

Territory: Montreal and surroundings

Work Place: South Shore

Products/Services: construction services

Salary: $90,000

Commissions/Bonus: Between $25,000 and $40,000 + Bonus up to $5k

Car allowance:$km

  • Evaluate and develop sales team members
  • Assist team members on the road on sales calls
  • Ensure you meet top and bottom-line objectives
  • Conduct regular sales meetings where we celebrate and learn
  • Attract, hire, train and coach new team members
  • Ensure that territories are covered well
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is high
  • Get involved with escalated customer service cases
  • Ensure that the CRM is being used fastidiously
  • Extract information from the CRM and make business decisions based on info
  • Work hand in hand with other departments
  • Participate in management meetings, come prepared with suggestions to improve on your department and its workings
  • Verify and comment on proposals done by team members

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight required

Years’ of experience: 10 solid years of sales experience with at least 5 years sales management

Other requirements:

  • Successful track record
  • High emotional intelligence

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Experience working with a CRM and interpreting and acting on the data
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of the technical aspect of the construction industry is a must
