Profile: Our customer is the manufacturer of software, which is used in the manufacturing process and sold to a variety of industries such as aerospace and automotive. The account manager we are looking for has experience in CNC, CNC training software, or software intended for the operation of factories. Your role will be to manage existing accounts, develop new accounts, and tidy up the different types of software as well as the services provided. You will report to the Vice President of Sales. You will have assigned an existing client list, a prospect list, in addition to having to bring in new business. You would travel 4+ times a year on your territory.

Workplace: 50% work from home, 50% work from office in the West Island (social distancing possible in a large office)

Language: English, spoken and written

Education: University degree

Training: Full training will be provided, however you must come from a similar sector

Travel: 10% of the time, plan 4+ trips per year, approximately once per quarter.

Years of experience: 3-5 years of experience in software sales, or a similar industry

Other requirements:

  • A proven track record of success
  • Ability to achieve goals
  • Knowledge of CAD / CAM and / or CNC machinery, is a great asset
  • Ability to work in a team and promote collaboration
  • Ability to travel periodically
