Profile: Our client provides cloud services to b2b clients across Canada and is looking for a pre-sales engineer to work with clients and the sales team. Your role will be to assist in pre-sales technical recommendations, assist in writing RFPs and proposals and provide training to salespeople.

Territory: Canada

Workplace: Work from home local to Montreal

Products/Services: Cloud services

Salary: Base $100,000-$120,000

Commissions/Bonus: 10% of base

Car allowance: km reimbursement

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

• Provide technical pre-sales support to sales team
• Provide pre-sales technical support to clients
• Assist in RFP and proposal writing
• Qualify client opportunities
• Resolve technical issues
• Help clients define specifications
• Attend customer calls over the phone and in person
• Provide technical training for sales
• Ensure all technical content of all customer orders

Development vs Maintenance: N/A

Road vs Office: 40% vs 60%

Languages: Fluent French and English needed

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree needed

Training: Training on our services and systems provided

Overnight Travel: Less than 25% overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: At least 5 years equivalent experience required

Other requirements: Responsive, has a great attitude of collaboration and not afraid to put in the work
