Profile: Our client is the producer of metals used in intricate electronic products. They sell their metals across the world and are looking for an Account Manager who   can manage a base of customers. Your role will be to manage the day-to day activities of the base, collect and disseminate competitive market information and follow orders from start to completion. You will support the senior sales staff in their day to day as well. The person that we seek must have a science background in either chemicals, electronics, metallurgy etc and have a sales background. You must be able to pass a criminal background test.

Territory: International

Workplace: work from home and training from Ville St Laurent office

Products/Services: Metals and chemicals

Salary: Base of $72,000-$100,000 depending on experience

Commissions/Bonus: 12% of base annually

Car allowance: $/km

Functions:

Functions:

• Provide day to day support for the assigned list of clients
• Follow up on clients' orders ex PO, billing etc
• Prepare quotations to respond to customer needs
• Prepare forecasts
• Provide feedback on market conditions
• Provide feedback on competitive landscape
• Update sales specifications, brochures, web site content etc
• Identify new markets
• Participate in global tradeshows
• Collaborate with R&D department and other team members
• Build strong relationships with client base

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, Spoken French

Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, materials science of similar

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: 10-15% overnight when permitted

Years’ of experience:5-8 years relevant industry experience is a MUST
