Job Description:

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client sells managed services to large enterprise clients in Canada and some abroad. They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage a team of 6 business development professionals in 3 different locations. The individual we seek is strong in business development and acquiring new business. This is a consultative sales role where some sales cycles are long and others are relatively short. Ideally the person we seek has sold to enterprise clients but they them self have worked for a small or medium-sized business. You are excellent in managing sales activities, KPIs and proving value to your team members.

Territory: Canada and some global accounts

Workplace: Work from home and 1x per week office presence

Products/Services: IT managed services

Salary: Base $125,000

Commissions/Bonus: $125,000 paid quarterly

Car allowance: km reimbursed

Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Attain or surpass company set sales objectives
  • Hire, manage, guide and work with business development reps
  • Provide weekly guidance to team members
  • Meet with team members monthly for detailed 1 on 1 feedback
  • Manage set KPIs
  • Ensure that funnel has the required volume to meet quota
  • Helps identify opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 30% vs 70%

Languages: French and English bilingualism

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience will be considered

Training: On the job training provided of our systems and services but we are looking for someone experienced

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years of experience: At least 5 years management experience in the industry required

Other requirements: Must have solutions sales experience

Transferable contacts: Must have sold to CTOs, IT management

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of having worked and used a CRM for effective sales management
  • Strong presentation skills required
