Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client, a well-established manufacturer of rubber parts used by OEMs, namely in the building/construction and industrial field. The Inside sales rep that we seek will be responsible for a group of clients and taking care of all inbound leads. You will also be responsible for following up on leads received at trade shows (when that is allowed again). You are outgoing, goal-oriented person who loves the industrial and building industry and can build a territory plan to grow your customers while at the same time managing new requests. Must be able to travel twice a year to the US.

Territory: Canada

Workplace: Combination of work from home and South Shore office

Products/Services: Rubber parts

Salary: Base $55,000-$60,000


Car allowance: N/A

  • Proactively call into base of customers assigned
  • Build a territory plan
  • Grow client base by cross-selling and upselling accounts
  • Respond to both email and phone requests  
  • Direct inbounds to the correct resources
  • Take care of a pre-determined set of inbound clients
  • use social media platforms to follow up on leads from tradeshows
  • Bring leads to proposal then to close stage
  • Update CRM with all sales-related activities
  • Follow company-set KPIs

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100% except when at trade shows

Languages: French and English needed

Education: Cegep

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: 2 trips to tradeshows per year

Years of experience: At least 3 years in a similar role

Other requirements:

  • Ability to read plans is an asset
