Profile: Our client is a long-standing provider of IT services to all sized businesses across Quebec. We are looking for a business development rep who has sold IT services to companies in the province of Quebec. We sell management of your IT resources, development of your applications, bank of hours, cloud services and intrusion detection services.   Most of our clients stay with us and for that you will be well-remunerated. We are looking for a business development rep who comes to the table with established contacts.

Territory: Province of Quebec, highly concentrated in the greater Montreal area

Workplace: Work from home

Products/Services: IT services

Salary: Base $80,000


  • 1st year= $24,000
  • 2nd year= $33,000
  • No cap on commissions

Car allowance: $/km

Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Call on prospects to introduce our services
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Achieve lead generation through cold calls, previous contacts, social selling etc
  • Engage decision maker through a deep dive into prospect's needs
  • Create proposals
  • Deliver presentations
  • Manage sales cycle from start to end
  • Follow up in a timely manner on all request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Document all sales activities in company CRM

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: Excellent written and spoken French, good command of English

Education: DEC or   Bachelor or equivalent experience

Training: Full training on the job provided on our services

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years of experience: At least 5 years in a similar role

Other requirements: Sales experience selling IT services is a must

Transferable contacts: Has sold IT services into similar types companies

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Good base of IT services knowledge needed
