Job Description:

Profile: Our client sells information technology products and services which include legacy services, data center and cloud storage services. The  Senior Business Development Executive  will lead and oversee the development and growth of profitable new business; develop and maintain effective key customer relationships as well as ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities. Ideally you have sold technology and have a track record selling to Entreprise accounts. You must be able to pass a background check. Please provide your resume in English.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Work Place: Work from home and may ask for a presence at the office 1 x week

Products/Services: Data protection

Salary: $95,000 to $110,000

Commissions/Bonus: $6,300 per month or $75,000 per year @ 100% of your objectives - no cap on commissions

Car allowance: based on matrix

-Assesses prospective and assigned customer's current and potential needs, determining appropriate company products and solutions  

-Develop and lead the sales strategy for major opportunities in the territory; involve internal resources as needed  

-Maximize prospecting in order to develop new customers, including the initiation of new 'leads' to contact on a weekly basis and ensure follow-up

-Develop and implement strategies and business plans by making sure to understand the customer's service offer and how it differentiates itself in the market

-Ability to properly present the product offers and / or the complete solution of the company, in order to highlight strengths, competitive pricing, customer satisfaction as well as fully understand competitive advantages

-Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals

-Understands and influences a wide range of customer stakeholders (channel partners included) while acting as industry expert to the customer

-Ensures frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customer educated on emerging industry trends related to customer's organizational information agreement needs

-Responsible for identifying opportunities and increasing the sales process by assisting in the evaluation of special projects

-Maintain a consistent pipeline that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment.

-Create demand by understanding specific vertical market business challenges, delivering entry point value statements, value propositions, and by identifying the key buying influences in a complex sales environment  

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: Proficient with oral and written communication both french and english

Education: Bachelors degree a must

Training: on site and continuous training provided  

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in sales, servicing entreprise accounts  

Other requirements:

-strong background and knowledge of strategic account management, sales process and solution selling

-ability to influence and negotiate through proven sales skills  

-Encompasses strong interpersonnal, planning, analytical skills and business acumen for effective decision making
