Profile: Our client is an international corporation and a leader in the corporate travel industry. They specialize in business services and business travel and offers an avant-garde corporate culture.   Their goals are to reduce cost and save time for major corporations! The business development rep's role is to sell corporate travel to small and large organizations. You will work on booking your own prospects as well as work on prospects booked for you by our SDR.

Territory: Ottawa area

Workplace: Hybrid role home/office

Products/Services: Corporate travel services

Salary: Base $75,000


  • 1st year $15,000 of commissions
  • 2nd year $30,000-$35,000 commissions
  • 3rd year $50,000 commissions

  • Identify companies that fit our profile
  • Identify influencers and decision-makers
  • Do a deep-dive analysis of their needs and identify opportunities to sell
  • Fulfill company-set KPIs such as visits etc
  • Prepare written proposals and deliver to those concerned
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings and meeting over Zoom
  • Use company-supported tools such as Sales navigator, Salesforce etc
  • Work in conjunction with SDR who will provide some leads, give feedback
  • Participate in networking events (as needed)
  • Input information in CRM (Salesforce)

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: English (French an asset)

Education: Post-secondary education

Training: 5-day intensive training on our services and methodology

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight needed

Years of experience: At least 3 years b2b sales experience
