Job Description:

Profile: Our client offers innovative and interactive teaching tools to the educational field on a global scale. Their goal is to facilitate teaching and learning while stimulating student motivation through these solutions. We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for an existing client base in the educational field. This person will have to work independently and be open to travel up to 40% of the time.

Territory: Montreal and Maritimes

Work Place: Home Office

Products/Services: Educational tools

Salary: $55,000

Commissions/Bonus: $23 000

Car allowance: $1000 / month + gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed by the company

Establish strong relationships with existing accounts as well as make them grow

Achieve and exceed sales goals

Identify, track and prioritize sales opportunities

Build and implement sales strategies for your territory with very little supervision

Educate, inform and keep customers informed about the educational field

Work remotely with several internal departments for the purpose of generating sales (marketing, internal sales, publishing department)

Use CRM to its full potential by entering information on a daily basis

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 80% VS 20% (Organic growth)

Road vs Office: 80% VS 20%

Languages: Perfect English (Written and spoken)

Education: A Bachelor's degree is necessary

Training: Training will be provided by the employer but the person must come from the industry

Overnight Travel: Up to 40% overnight travel depending on the time of the year

Years’ of experience: At least 3 years of experience on the road

Other requirements:

-Mature and autonomous

-Can work independently


-Can provide feedback to the manager

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge: Having sold to the same base of customers and understand educational field  will be  an asset
