Profile: My client is a leader in the business customer HVAC services industry. My client designs, develops and integrates intelligent technological solutions allowing to reduce operating costs. The goal; optimize your systems and equipment to ensure comfort and productivity. The tasks are prospecting and monitoring clients, planning and coordinating activities related to monitoring contracts and projects. The representative must also ensure customer satisfaction.

Territory: Quebec (mostly Montreal and surroundings)

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: HVAC

Salary:$65,000 - $75,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000 annually

Car allowance: KM reimbursed

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

• Identify the markets of potential customers and qualify them

• Develop, promote and solicit new clients
• Prospect within existing major accounts to identify all opportunities for energy optimization
• Provide technical expertise to existing customers (engineers, contractors and business)
• Provide excellent customer service and work in collaboration with internal resources in the performance of its tasks
• Maintain the market, follow up with customers
• Achieve the objectives set by the company
• Plan possible energy saving projects
• Support the development of marketing tools related to energy optimization
• Support the initiatives of colleagues in his department
• Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) software package
• Be autonomous while working closely with your manager to define the most complex strategies and presentation

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance:50%vs 50%

Road vs Office:60% vs 40%

Languages: Bilingualism (English and French)

Education: Diploma in building mechanics will be considered an asset

Training: On premise  

Overnight Travel: Little to none

Years’ of experience: 3 years in a similar role in a technical industry

Other requirements:

  • Experience in HVAC an asset
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Client-oriented
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Knows how to adequately qualify opportunities, reach decision-makers and secure appointments
